Camper Van Conversion Elements
Power
Standard conversion includes the provision of a 120 A/hr leisure battery including a 140amp split load relay (which allows your battery to charge from the alternator whilst driving once the starter battery is full).
This feeds a separate fuse box which is linked to interior lighting, the entertainment system, electric blinds & fridge (if fitted). This means when the leisure battery is empty, you can still start the vehicle!
Additional options are available to supplement this;
A Hook-up kit, this includes a 10 meter lead, a socket on the side of the van which feeds a small consumer unit containing safety breakers. This feeds a twin switched socket outlet (for hairdryers/small heater etc). A charger also maintains a charge to the leisure battery.
Another Option is to have a small 350 watt sine wave inverter – which powers a double socket by converting the battery power to mains voltage.
Finally, a solar option is available, which comprises a Phot-voltaic array on the roof which generates up to 160 Watts of free power – automatically feeding the leisure battery & appliances.
Entertainment
Vehicles are now all fitted with a UK tuned touch screen Pioneer SPH-230DAB, which includes a six speaker system.
This doubles up as a reversing camera. An enhancement to this is the installation of a 19” flip down, ceiling mounted monitor, creating a private cinema.
Wifi is also available, by the provision of a 4G device, which can be used as a local network to connect up to 4 devices to. (Subject to 4g contract)
Satellite Navigation can be utilised by connecting your phone with either Apple carplay or Android Auto, The DAB system interact with these pertfectly.
Kitchen Fitments
These can range from a lift-out type unit, right through to a full side mounted, full length conversion.
All kitchens utilise a Dometic compressor fridge, Smev 922 two burner hob and sink with pumped cold water.
All conversions come with an independent habitation certificate.
Security
Vehicles can be alarmed and fitted with trackers (subscription required).
Exterior
Roof Bars, tow bars, cycle racks, luggage racks are all available.
