On the downside, it takes a couple of weeks to find the perfect vehicle (colour/condition/mileage etc). It then it takes about 8 weeks to sail here. UK registration and preparatory work takes a couple of weeks. Then its time we get cracking on with the conversion.
On the upside, you will get an info pack and weekly updates of progress once your van has landed at the port.
The main benefit is that we fully prepare every vehicle, including full cavity waxoyling, underbody undersealing. We also give your van a full service including replacement cam belt. Some history is available from the Japanese side – but we prefer to start afresh.

Another option is to have us source your van & get it prepped & on the road for the UK – Then we deliver it, you get used to it & decide later who you want to convert it. We of course would be happy to do that for you. However you are free to pick who you want, when you want. Some DIY conversions are great! Perhaps you fancy doing it yourself. Either way, works fine for us.
As long as you end up with the van of your dreams, then all is good.
